International KITE Festival

May 19, 2001, Georgetown, Kentucky

Treenaneel participated in the first annual international festival that featured kite flying and building competitions for all ages and experiences as well as fun fly's. The event also featured an international food court as well as cultural entertainment and displays. For general information on kite festival, please visit www.kitefest.com.

Thanks to all the volunteers of Treenaneel who reserved the booth to sell food items like ghoogni, alur-dam, chicken patties, alur-chop, tuna rolls, chicken rolls, soft drinks, tea, coffee at a nominal cost. The volunteers also organized another stall to showcase artifacts from India to promote the Indian culture and heritage. Special thanks to Mrs. Aloka Mukherjee and Mrs. Susmita Barua for organizing the activity.
