Letter from our President

Hi Friends,
Feeding the Homeless event on 2nd June at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church went very well. We fed about 65 people and had quite a bit of leftover, which we gave to the Church.
On behalf of Treenaneel of Kentucky, I would like to thank Mr. Bryan Devore who procured and prepared the food at the University of Louisville kitchen. Thanks to the U of L Kitchen management for allowing us the facility for food preparation. And thanks to our food coordinator Abir for his guidance and coordination. Also, thanks to Jefferson Street Baptist Church for allowing us help the needy and Ashokeda for arranging this event with the Church.
Thanks to the Tri-State Durga Puja - Kentucky Chapter for financing this event.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the help of our volunteers: Ashokeda, Sujata-boudi, Parimalda, Chabidi, Somen, Anindya, Rom, Swapan, Jayanta, Rajarshi, Abir, Ahadbabu, and Samrat/Sumita/Somen (who came from Owensboro, KY) - Thank you all.
